Open Representative Programme 2026

Teams:

The 2026 Representative Team Policies and Procedures document contains the full information on the Representative Programme. 

Player Eligibility:

  • Be in the relevant age-group of the team they are trialing for. Players cannot play in an older or younger age group.
    • Players must be age 18 (born 2007) or above as at 01 January in the year of the representative season
  • Be financial to both Club and HCNC.
  • Be registered on the HCNC Intention to Trial Player list

Online registration close Tuesday 21st July 2026 [Players may still registrer on arrival to Trial #1]

Open Representative: Commitments

Trials: 

  • Step 1: Selectors will be attending Thursday Night Indoor and Saturday Open Grade games to watch intention to trial list.
  • Step 2: Trial Dates - Players are required to attend both trials
  • Trial Dates:
    • Trial #1 - Wednesday 22nd July: 5.30pm-7.30pm - Venue: The Peak, Rototuna
    • Trial #2 - Saturday 1st August: 4pm-6pm - Venue: The Peak, Rototuna
    • Trial #3 - Callback Trial - Sunday 2nd August: 4pm-6pm - Venue: The Peak, Rototuna

Trainings

  • To be confirmed after the completion of trials

Tournament Information:

  • Hamilton City Netball Centre Open Representative Tournament:
  • Date: Sunday 16th August 2026
  • Venue: The Peak, Rototuna High School, Kimbrae Drive, Hamilton

Netball New Zealand Open Champs 

  • Rodney Green Arena  - Napier: Thursday 10th September to Sunday 13th September 2026
  • Leave Wednesday 9th September, and returning Sunday 13th September 2026

All players will be required to participate in fundraising for the team to help reduce final cost for players.
