Kia ora, my name is Michelle Paama and I am taking on the role as the 14A’s Coach for 2023. I started playing netball here at Hamilton City at the age of 9, and it seems fitting that I have finally come full circle and am giving back to the Center where my love for the sport of Netball began. I have coached at various centres ranging from Tauranga, Matamata, Eastern Waikato and also here at Hamilton City. Many hats have been worn, from player, coach, umpire, centre member and both my daughter’s very own personal netball taxi service. My coaching experiences are school and adult teams, ranging from Social, to Development to Premier, and this year I add the challenge, as a Representative coach in the 2023 season. Honestly I feel excited/nervous and nauseous to have this opportunity to take the next step in my netball journey, I look forward to meeting new faces and helping netballers take their netball journey to wherever they are wanting to go.
