Year 7-8 Development Camp April 2025
Development Camps focus on promotion of different movements and techniques that can help develop players fundamental skill and how to implement into their Netball
Coaches will also adapt sessions to players abilities and add other skill development for extension
Player Eligibility
- Must be Year 7 or Year 8 School level
Coaching
Dates:
- 2 Day Camp - Monday 14th AND Tuesday 15th April 2025
- 1 Day Camp - Tuesday 22nd April 2025
Time: 9am – 3pm
Venue: Hamilton City Netball Centre
Cost:
2 Day Camp: $100 per player
1 Day Camp: $50 per player

The Camp will cover the below aspects:
Day 1:
- Netball SMART: Safe Landing Skills
- Skill Focus: Attack: Movement and Space [Using Space and Passing into Space], Shooting.
- Athlete Development: SMART Health
- Netball Games
- Recovery protocols
Day 2:
- Skill Focus: Defence: Intercepting & Phases of defence
- Rules Knowledge
- Athlete Development: SMART Health Continued
- Skill recap from Day 1 & 2
- Netball Games
Ensure that you bring your lunch, snacks and appropriate clothing for weather changes.
If it is raining we will still go ahead.
The 1 Day Camp will cover the below aspects:
