David Bluett completes term as Board Chair

On Tuesday night at the HCNC AGM we farewelled David Bluett as the Board Chair after completing his 9 years on the Board.

David has made considerable contributions to the Centre over his time and has lead the organisation through some significant changes and challenges including the facility upgrade, employment of the Centres now General Manager and Covid. His financial knowledge and expertise has ensured that the Centre has remained in a healthy financial state and set for the future. David built around him a Board with a diverse range of strengths to aid the Centre. The staff have valued David's calm demeanor and way of finding the path of least stress.While David steps down from the Board he and his business (DB Chartered Accountants), will continue to be part of our community through sponsorship which includes financial advice and the preparation of the Annual Accounts.
