2024 Pre-Season Tournament

Date: Saturday 13th April 2024
Venue: Hamilton City Netball Centre, Moore St, Hamilton
Time: 8:30am
Draw: Teams will play 5 games
Tournaments are always a juggle, with grades having different numbers. Some grades will have straight Round Robins while others will have play-offs. Please see below.
- 5 Round Robin Games: Open Premier, Open B Grade, Open C Grade and Year 10 Competitive A. The team who places first will be the winner of the division.
- Playoffs – 3 Round Robin games, 2 x playoffs = semis and finals: Open A Grade, Open Social Grade, Secondary Snr A & Secondary Year 9 A.
Time: All games will be 10 minutes each way with 2 minutes at half time. No injury time will be added to the game times.
Registration: A team representative is asked to report to the registration window on arrival and before each game. Scorecards will be given to the second team that registers.
Umpires: Each team must provide a qualified Umpire (minimum Centre Theory and/or ITU) who will umpire their own teams games. New 2024 Umpiring rules apply.
Points: The scorecard shall be the official results

Draw 2 points
Gear: All teams are to have matching bibs but uniforms are not required. Each team is to provide a match ball.
Rules: All teams will play under the NEW World Netball rules including substitution rules.
Prizegiving: There will be no prizegiving. Winning teams are able to collect their prizes from the Registration Office.
All Hamilton City Netball Centre policies and procedures will be adhered to including the Code of Conduct. These are available on the website (www.netballhamilton.org.nz)
Refunds: No refunds will be given if teams withdraw after draw is published.
